After your customer pays
For every CJ-connected business, Tuaneka automatically submits eligible paid shop orders to that business's CJ account. Orders are created without initiating payment or debiting the CJ balance. Customer payments go to the seller's configured gateway; they are not automatically transferred to CJ.
Pay the supplier
Open Seller tools > Orders. An order marked Awaiting supplier payment has reached CJ but still needs supplier payment. Tuaneka emails the business owner once when payment is required. Open the order, note its CJ reference, and choose Review and pay in CJ. Review the final product, shipping and any other supplier charges in CJ, then pay there. Estimated USD costs in Tuaneka are not a guaranteed final CJ bill.
Automatic updates
Tuaneka checks CJ payment and shipment status automatically. Webhooks prompt a fresh CJ lookup; scheduled checks also recover missed updates. Confirmed dispatch and delivery update the Tuaneka order and use the existing buyer status-email workflow. Creating a CJ order does not mean it is paid or shipped.
Delays and failed submissions
Temporary failures are retried with increasing delays. If a submission times out, Tuaneka looks for the original order instead of posting it again. Do not create a replacement manually while reconciliation is in progress. Repeated failures appear in the order and trigger an email to the business owner. Rare unresolved provider failures may still require support.
If CJ disables API access, reactivate it in CJ's API authorizations. Tuaneka can recover this specific connection state after a successful authenticated order lookup. A deliberately paused connection stays paused. Only that business's connection can fulfil its orders.
Payments and returns
Each seller is responsible for paying CJ and for customer communication, returns and refunds. This flow does not provide escrow, transfer customer funds to CJ, or automatically refund buyers when CJ cancels an order. Stock-owning local suppliers use their separate supplier-payment workflow.
